National and International Research Projects
This competitive fund supports applied research in education and teacher education. It is open for submissions of academics affiliated with Israeli academic institutions. The fund also supports research expenses and wages of Israeli researchers who participate in international studies.
Supporting Researchers
The MOFET Institute supports experienced researchers who are willing to mentor teacher educators who are beginning researchers. The mentees join their mentors’ research. The MOFET Institute awards mentors an honorarium when a paper co-authored by the mentee is accepted by an international peer-reviewed academic journal published in English.
Supporting Researchers
This program aims to support outstanding early-career teacher educators during the initial phases of their career. The program provides an opportunity for in-service professional development, as the candidates are selected from within the academic staff of the Israeli colleges of education. This prerequisite, relies on the applied research concept that allows researchers a close contact to their research.
