Innovation and Growth During Uncertain Times – Simulations in Education and the COVID-19 Crisis

Proceedings of the International Online Symposium:
Innovation and Growth During Uncertain Times – Simulations in Education and the COVID-19 Crisis

The National Program for Simulation Centers in Education aims to promote the use of simulation-based learning (SBL) among educators, in order to improve interpersonal communication skills, to support teaching and learning processes, and to advance the use of non-violent communication skills in conflict situations, while creating a space for trust and mutual respect.

On July 2021, The MOFET Institute hosted the Program’s international online symposium, “Innovation and growth during uncertain times: Simulations in education and the Covid-19 crisis”.

This book, of the symposium’s proceedings, presents recent publications and findings on the role of simulations in education: the shift to distance-simulation workshops following the COVID-19 pandemic; the use of simulations for implementing social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies and skills; simulation models in Israel and around the; and key issues in implementing and operating the simulative tool in education around the globe.

We hope readers of this volume find that it has practical and conceptual worth for their own work and practice.
