As we further explore practical applications of generative artificial intelligence, it is apparent that we must develop a new form of literacy. This course offers an intensive and unique learning path into the workings of generative AI technologies, with a focus on ChatGPT, understanding its implications, leveraging built-in capabilities, and overcoming inherent limitations to foster long-term expertise and efficiency.

Who Should Attend?

This course invites educators, lecturers, and learning specialists to explore the transformative power of GenAI in academia, aiming to develop a sustainable skill set that remains relevant in the face of rapidly advancing AI technologies.

Dates and Times 

The course will begin November 26, 2024 and end February 4, 2025.
The lessons will take place on Tuesdays (according to the time table below) starting at 12:00 GMT.

Costs

1,500 USD for the entire course. Graduates will receive a certificate of attendance.

Course Structure:

  • Synchronous Learning Sessions (15 hours total): Engage in live discussions and guided exercises to learn various principles, techniques, and advanced prompt engineering strategies.
  • Asynchronous Lab Work (15 hours total): Between live sessions, structured exercises through a learning lab workbook will be essential for course completion, focusing on reverse engineering prompts and generative AI media creation.
  • Peer Community: Share insights, dilemmas, and outcomes with peers, enriching the learning experience.
  • Virtual Office Hours: Direct support and guidance from the course team.

Outcomes:
