The European Union International Promentors project focuses on the expansion of the role of mentoring as a source of empowerment and professional development for teachers and within the mentor training process, which is implemented in learning communities that include mentors, interns, college representatives, school representatives, and officials from the Ministry of Education and municipalities’ education departments.
The study day will discuss the unique aspects of the project and will bring together international researchers, teachers and leaders in education and mentoring with the goal to create a new and fresh meeting point between academia and the field. This being part of the advancing the process of mentoring and the optimum absorption of new teachers in schools.
The study day is open to the public with no fee required. It will take place at the Mofet Institute.
